The Borghese Gallery opening hours are as follows:
Tuesday to Sunday: 9 AM - 7 PM Monday: ClosedLast admissions at the Borghese Gallery are at 5:45 PM. Keep in mind your time at the Gallery will be limited if you select this entry slot.
Due to its incredible popularity and relatively small size, the Borghese Gallery operates a timed-entry system for visitors and only allows a maximum of 180 people inside at a time. Tickets and guided tours purchased through the official website or authorized tour operators are for specific 2-hour time slots during the day. Keep in mind that the final slot in the day, at 5:45 PM, only lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Generally speaking, 2 hours is considered enough time to fully explore the Borghese Gallery’s exhibitions and vast collection. After your timed visit concludes, you will be ushered outside, however you can still visit the café and bookstore in the gallery, before continuing to explore the Borghese Villa Gardens.
